Their full, lush blooms carry an authentic quality reminiscent of a classic rose garden in full summer flush, a world away from the uniform perfection of commercial varieties. On Arrival: Trim approximately 2 to 3 centimetres from the bottom of each stem at a diagonal angle before placing in the vase. Remove any leaves that fall below the waterline to keep the water clean and fresh.
Water: Change the vase water every two days and re-trim the stems each time to maximise water uptake and prolong the life of the blooms.
Position: Display in a cool spot away from direct sunlight, heating vents and draughts. Avoid placing near fruit, as ethylene gas accelerates wilting.
Feeding: Use the flower food sachet provided if included, or add a small amount of sugar and a drop of bleach to the water as an alternative.
Longevity: With proper care, your Joya roses should remain beautiful for seven to ten days.
